No news is good news?

At the moment I don't know whether to believe this is true or not! We are still waiting for a call from the Military to let us know when Jonathan leaves for his basic training: The longer they don't call, the more time I have with him until he leaves - The sooner they call, means nice paychecks & benefits!! We are waiting anxiously (and nervous-ly! - is that a word?) for their call.

Last weekend we went to pick up my grandmother's dog, Rusty. He is an 11 year old lab mix, and is extreamly well trained, so we are hoping this helps with Bailee's training. He is doing well with the adjustment and, so is Bailee. The only problem we've had really is Bailee bullying Rusty! She jumps all over him, bites his tail and, steals his toys. When she does this all he does is growle until we stop her. Hopefully she'll get the hint soon.

Work is going well, despite my 9 days straight without a day off! (not to mention the 12 hour shift on the 6th day straight!) Yesterday I FINALY had a day off, back to work today, then 2 days off in a row (Thank goodness!).

All is well in our tiny McNair house, we are enjoying the beautiful fall leaves and getting out with the dogs as much as possibly - I took rusty down to lake yesterday and he had a blast! -
We miss everyone in Ottawa and hope everyone is doing great!
