End The Ignorance

The other day while visiting one of the many sites I frequently watch concerning abortion, I came across an interesting comment by someone who is pro-life. It was very accusatory towards women who have abortions, saying that they should be ashamed of themselves. Well, no doubt I am sure they are, but who are we to jugde and point fingers? A very wise woman once told me to "Hate the sin, not the sinner"!
Half of the ignorance behind abortion is assuming that all women use abortion as a form of birth control. It's the lack of understanding and compassion towards woman who have been convinced with lies that abortion is okay. Why not educate, and eliminate the judgemental point of view, so that we can eliminate abortion all together.
All woman (And men!) need to be more educated when it comes to abortion and it's effects. They need to know that every baby, no matter how small, has a heart that beats and deserves to live the life given to them, by the grace of God. They need to be aware of the better options they have, and the resources they have available to them.
Step into the shoes of a young woman who has been raped and is being forced by her parents to abort, or the woman being abused by her husband who thinks abortion is better then watching her child be abused too, and lets not forget about the young girl whose boyfriend tells her it's okay and that it's the right thing to do... It's really time to stop judging & to start educating. Its time to stand firm in your beliefs, speak out, and end the ignorance!
